I’m looking for a recipe for Thanksgiving and I want to use our new outdoor grill/smoker. I love the taste of the turkey legs at carnivals and festivals so what I want to know is, what is your recipe? I’m hoping for a rub that is mouth watering to the taste and perhaps different than regular turkey recipes in the oven.
I saw one for a pomegranate and rosemary rub, orange rubs and so on. Anyone had that before?
I want to know how much charcoal to use to how big the turkey is since there are different sizes, what to use to keep it moist and perhaps some really nice side dishes. Are they actually smoking the turkey at carnivals or grilling? Is smoking better for the turkey than cutting the turkey up and grilling? What’s your take?
Bring it!

Me and my family are going to go camping during the Thanksgiving break. It’s pretty much our first real time camping and we’re a little lost on what we need!
This is our list so far:

- 3 airbag mattress…things
- a tent
- a grill

I feel like something’s missing.
