what if I took a big skillet- either stainless steel or cast iron, and I filled it about 1/2 inch with a mixture of water and liquid smoke. And then I put that on the stove top, turn it up, and I put like a hot grill rack over that. And then when it’s HOT, ill add a little alcohol to the mixture in the pan below the grill rack, lite that alcohol on FIRE and then throw some steaks on that grill rack.
I don’t have an outdoor grill, and I want to create an indoor grill sort of thingy without building up carbon monoxide in my house.
._.
it feels stupid still, but I don’t know….that’s why I’m asking.
lol
Hello! On July 29th 2011, in just eight days i will be having my very own western themed sweet 16! i’ve rented an outdoor facility at my local park. the party is from 6pm until 10pm. does anyone have any ideas of what food to cater? each facility comes with a grill, but im sort of on a budget, and i don’t want to buy steaks for 40 people! any ideas? thanks!!
I’ve got some killer ribeye steaks in the fridge and I’m thinkin’ ’bout puttin’ ‘em in the oven and broiling them. Thing is I don’t know jack about cooking a steak without an outdoor grill. Question….What temp? How long? Whats the best seasoning(nothing crazy just a little something to enhance the flavor a bit)? I heard cooking them frozen is better? Anybody got a good idea? Nothing crazy just a good tender, flavorful steak, med. well. Nice brown on the out side a little pink in the middle and lots ‘o’ flavor.
I am making "Surf and Turf" for Christmas Eve Dinner (no, you can’t come over) and I am trying to get ideas on the best way to cook the Lobster tails simultaneously with the steak so that they are both hot, fresh and perfect at the same time. I am making dinner for 8 guests. The steaks will be grilled on my outdoor grill. They are about 4-5 oz bonless sirlions and the Tails are 8 to 10 oz tails. I don’t know if I should boil, broil steam or what? I was thinking of putting the tails on a baking sheet and cooking them in the oven with a pot of water in there to keep them from drying out. But for how long and at what temp would be good for that. Is that the best way or is steaming them the best- thats time consuming though. Lookng for suggestions and please don’t post links. I’m not going to look at them. My oven will not be needed for anything else. Someone else is bringing potatoes and I’m steaming Green Beans.

They say its so safe! Why don’t they all take a camping trip for a couple weeks on the Arizona border and they can cook their fat steaks on the grill. They can invite some of the drug cartel people to join them!
Because Obamas budget CUTS funding on our border protection- I guess he would rather fund ACORN!!! To steal VOTES!
My fiance and I just moved into a new apt and havent purchased an outdoor grill yet. My man loves his meat for dinner and I dont know how to make steaks and other meat meals etc without having a grill. Does anyone know of any yummy recipes with chicken/ steak/ hamburger that I could make on the stove, in the oven or in a crock pot? ANy help would be truly appreciated, Thank you so much!
Are you tired of spending your time grilling steaks only to end up with tough, dried out and flavorless steaks? The problem is most BBQ pits dont produce enough heat to grill the steak quick enough to lock in its juices and flavors. They slow cook the steak and dry out the meat. The Backyard Steakhouse Grill and grilling method will give you the ability to produce tender juicy steaks using grocery store meat that will be as tender and juicy as your favorite steakhouse in your own backyard.
I’m grilling these steaks on the outdoor grill as a side to go along with baked spiral ham, etc. for my dinner party tomorrow. I need to get them marinaded like, NOW!
