I’ve been on charcoal now for over 10 yrs. not & I want something different. I’m looking for a gas grill w/ island & need help. I’m looking for the quality grills, NOT SOLD by places like sears, lowes, home depot, etc. Does anyone have sites I can visit which would recommend the "best" grill for the money? I’ve looked at OCS, CAPITAL, OUTDOOR KITCHEN CONCEPTS(nice), & VIKING. All above k. I DON’T WANT TO BE SENT TO A LOWES site or related that reviews how to find a grill, I’m looking at quality brands (not Weber, brinkham, etc.)

I want to cook a barbecue style brisket, except, I don’t have a smoker or charcoal grill. I have a gas grill, an oven, and a crock pot. My brisket is pretty small, only 2 pounds. How can I cook it ?

      Food ideas for camping…Plz?

There will be 6 of us. Most of the cooking will be done on a gas grill, but I will be at my cabin which also has pretty much a full kitchen including a fridge. We’ll be on the river partying all day so I really want something I could prep in the a.m then just throw on grill at night. We will be there for 5 days so I need more than just hamburgers and hot dogs. Thanks. All ideas welcome =)

          building an outdoor fireplace?

ive looked thru Y/A and found NO good answers or links. the usual answers consist of :

"look on line" …"..go to Lowes / Home Depot..get a book.." the usual answers form people who have no freakin clue..LOL

so if that’s all ya got, that’s fine, but it won’t help…

i have more than a full cube of left over face brick, a dozen or so cinder blocks, (i’ll get more..)
and a concrete pad already laid…

(i’ll get the mortar when i figure this out…)

          in short,

i know there needs to be interior brick to take te heat, ( IDK if i need a flue, doubt it, it’s outside, but i’ll put a cap on)

if ANYONE out there has actually put one together, i’d like to hear from you…

the plan is a decent sized ( about a yard/meter cubed) and an attached setting for my gas grill (about 10 ft /3meters from the house…gas grill closest)

          any help?

i usually get some very good advice in this section…im open to any advice…

i have it designed but i know i need more material,

i also saw (but i cant remember what it’s called..) a concrete? liner? or some such, that was pre fab…that was inside the firebox itself…

          thnx in advance…

In the first three months since I owned my weber genesis gas grill it worked perfectly. Now every time I grill where there is grease drippage from the meat it sets the whole meat on fire. Can this be fixed or do I just need a new grill. Oh a side note have never cleaned my grill besides the grill surface. Maybe a good cleaning will help? And like I said it just started to catch my food on fire it cooked everything perfectly.

It’s two totally different things. Barbecues are when a pig or a cow or other meat is roasted for days -not when you light a gas grill and cook your food in a matter of minutes.

The title should explain it. It’s a gas grill. Preparation not required we just need to know how long to bbq it. not cook as so many sites we’ve searched for have said…BBQ.
I need both temp and time for cooking and I need it asap Dx

Which GRILL would you get for your husband?

I’m trying to decide between these two grills. The 1st one is 9 at Home Depot and I have a 10% off coupon that expires on 11/29. This was on his wish list, but he said it doesn’t have to be this one. So I started browsing and I found a Kenmore Gas Grill for 9.99 and it was originally more. I’m thinking the Kenmore grill is better, but I’m not sure. Which one would you get?
