I am going camping and want a grate to put over the fire to use for cooking. Some outdoors stores sell good grates, but I feel there’s something simple out there I’m just not thinking of. So where can I get a grate, even used, for bbqing during my trip?
I have a friend of mine who works at the weather center. And from what I understand L.I new york will get getting hit pretty hard. Eastern end. I have a grandfather with alzheimers a brother with developmental disabilities and a baby on the way so i need to make sure im safe IF itdoes get bad..If anyone experienced could please confirm or deny if im doing things correctly and/or have everything.
Will a britafilter purify water or am i better or with bottled?
Can a small camping grill be used in the basement to use out frozen foods first?
Even if your water is shut off can u pour water into the back of the toilet and in the toilet and have it flush the same?

when you bbq while camping but use a portable grill (no gas) and u just put random wood and like start a fire with it or use a wet fire cube to cook meat, ect. is it safe? would it be toxic or harmful or anything?
bernzomatic propane canisters at the store .The blue ones contained 20% more and were cheaper than the green ones which said for camping . I got the blue ones . Is there any difference in the gas inside of them? Thanks!

I just moved to St. Augustine and I purchased tickets to the 2008 Daytona 500. Can you bring a camping grill to the parking lot and Bar-B-Q. ? How strict are they with what you can bring into the race track ? How early acn you get to the parking lots ? Thanks
This is supposed to be preseasoned. Instructions said wash first with hot water with no soap before using for first time. Followed that. I put a thin layer of oil on it everytime after use. I don’t put any oil on the pan while cooking.
My question is am I supposed to use a little bit of oil everytime I cook as well?
My second question is, why does it smoke so much? I"ve grilled onions, chicken breast with no oil and the thing just smokes like there’s no tomorrow.
Third question is, even though its "preseasoned" shall I do it again?
I’m going on a camping trip next week and someone told me maybe I can rub the pan with fat and throw it in the campfire all night and it should do the trick! any thoughts?
A couple friends and I are trying to go camping near home as a bonding thing before we leave for college. We have tents and grills etc. we just aren’t sure what places in the DC area are good for camping (Maryland is preferable) Thanks!
I am going camping for the Memorial Day Weekend and want to make Baked Potatoes on the grill. Is there a way to bake them at home first, then just put them on the grill to heat the next day without refrigeration? Not enough room in the coolers. I want to save time, but not at the expense of flavor, or risk of health!
PS I know it’s not technically a "Baked Potato" if it’s Grilled ..LOL
