My dog is a 9-moth old lab, about 70 lbs, so he’s pretty big. I’m having some issues with him chewing on plants and other things [lol our grill cover]. He’s an outdoor dog. He occasionally digs but my daughter has [at least temporarily] resolved the problem. I know that this is bad, but we don’t really have too much time at home to spend with him, but my daughter does try to spend as much time as she can with him. Any tips on training him to be obedient? Oh, and he also likes to jump on people when they come up to him. Any advice you have would be great…
Thank You!
wow, thank you guys for all these answers. we originally got this dog because we needed a guard dog and my children wanted a big dog. also, he’s not really by himself, i know this sounds funny but we do also own a pomeranian that stays in the backyard with him. they do get along, but i don’t think my lab is really getting any "playtime" with the pom.
we tried the electric fence, i felt so bad. i just don’t think it’s really humaine. we took it off of him, and to our surprise, he is still somewhat cautious of the areas we blocked off
whats the best way to do barbecue brisket in a slow cooker using bottled barbecue sauce? Just plonk the brisket in the slow cooker with the sauce over it and cook low 8 hours? or put it in dry and put the sauce on at the end?
I’m looking for information on propane systems. I really want to make a custom system for my camping gear to supply grills. Please do not respond with links to grills on the internet, I’m well aware they have them but I dont want them. What I need to know is what do I need to go from a disposable propane tank to basically just open air nozzle, and have an adjustable valve in order to change the amount of propane being released from it? In order to be safe, avoid flashbacks etc.. Thanks alot for your help. Any links to these pieces would be great too.
My husband likes salmon, I don’t, so I baught him salmon and me Mahi Mahi, I need a recipe that I can cook them both the same way and that is pretty easy, I would prefer to use my outdoor gas grill but I am also open to other options. thanks

My ex made pulled pork, like the barbecue at smithfields chicken and barbecue and stuff like that, he would wrap a pork tenderloin in tin foil and pour carolina treet on it, then bake it, and it would be done, I am trying to figure out what temp to cook it on and how long to cook it. I would just call him but I dont have a way to get up with him anymore… Thanks!
I would normally cook it in the crock pot but my crock pot insert broke in half last week thanks to my 3 yr old and my dog…. so this is the only way I know to cook it
I’m going with a few friends to a cabin in the mountains this weekend & am looking for some good ideas foodwise. We will have a grill and a campfire as well as the kitchen in the cabin, but would prefer to cook outdoors. Thinking about a pork tenderloin for Saturday but would like some other ideas besides the usual bbq sides.
Any suggestions?
