hey i’m going to go camping in some remote part of the world for the first time so I won’t have any access to electricity, etc. My question is how can i cook food without having to start a bonfire? None of us have ever even lit a candle before let alone a bonfire (we’re afraid we might set the forest on fire). So is there an alternative to his? I bought some hamburger patties (12 patties = 6 lbs.). Each one is about 1/2 lb. I tried to steam cook the patties for about 30min. and then pan-browned them with a little olive oil for 15 min. or so. The outside tasted fine but the middle parts taste like they could be cooked longer.
How can I cook these patties without having to thin them or make two out of one? Outdoor grilling is not an option. I would also love to get some recipies too.
