This is my favorite website for all things BBQ and grilling:
http://www.thesmokering.com/
Beware … this site can be addicting to a BBQ/grilling addict.
By the way, I have used "Meco" brand smoker charcoal grills for many years. In addition to regular the regular grilling of steaks, burgers, and the like, I also use it for slow smoked ribs and boston butts. They are not expensive and last about ten years. I have not been able to find them at retailers since I bought my last one in 1999. I was pleased to see that Amazon.com carries the whole line. You might want to check them out.
Good luck with your new grill.
Well what do you want gas char coal or a smoker. They all have good and bad points. For fast cooking use propane. If you want great taste get a smoker takes longer but worth it.
Alot of people will tell you about these BIG nice gas grills and how quick they are to use.
I have had my Charcole grill for 4 years the are the best the give your food the best flavor.
Some of my friend by those gas grills and within 2 years they have broke and they are using them with charcole
Go to Wal-mart or Home Depot or Lowes and get one for around $100.00 dollars and they are usually very big. They last for years.
I have one. And I love it.
Well I prefer propane for its convenience, but I know there are die-hard charcoal fanatics out there. You should be able to use Google and find all kinds of options and price ranges.
i like my Weber grills both gas and charcoal. propane if getting a smoker. also i would look for cast iron or cast aluminum burners in a grill or smoker stainless is junk. you pay more for grills with the iron or aluminum but they last like 4 times as long i have had my weber gas since 1998 and it still works as good as the day i got it
The only advice I can offer, is that you either buy cheap enough that you don’t mind throwing them away, or spend enough to get stainless steel burners. I had an outdoor grill tied to my gas supply, and the weather corroded the burner in just two seasons.
Pay the money…get a Weber
